About this Blog: There are Two Sides to Every Story, Two Sides of Every Coin

Sometimes, in the course of public debate, one side will dominate the discourse. But people like to hear more than one side. They like to make up their minds for themselves. This is especially true in the home education community, as people often choose home education because they prefer to develop their own positions, based on fact rather than rumour, fear and innuendo.

This blog has been set up to examine a variety of issues raised by the possibility of new guidelines for elective home education in England. It is not set up to persuade anyone to any particular opinion, but will attempt to present perspectives that have received little attention thus far in the discussion. If you wish to submit a post for consideration, please bear in mind that this blog will not publish any material that attacks or defames individuals. Information presented here must be fact-based, or raise reasonable questions regarding the issue of EHE regulation.

Comments are disabled because there is no lack of venues for home educators to discuss these issues and I do not wish to spend my time moderating a volatile debate. If you find something in this blog useful, I will be gratified. If not, you are free to take the points I and the other commentators raise and challenge them in any venue you please.
